Today HardwareLogic takes a break from the 2GB memory craze to bring you an "Old School" overclocking kit. GeIL may not be a household name in the US, but it is a company well known among enthusiasts. While DDR1 is walking its "Green Mile", 1GB DDR1 kits have been relegated to those who can't afford a 2GB kit, or those who still value a great overclock over memory capacity. The GeIL Ultra Platinum PC4000 1GB DDR1 Memory Kit definitely fits in the latter category. With a default clock speed of PC4000 (DDR500), a CAS ltency of 2.5, and voltages of up to 3.1V, the GeIL Ultra Platinum kit looks to be an overclockers dream.
