The other shortcoming is the proprietary headset connector. With no means to pair the X700 up with any other earphones/headphones other than the bundled stock earphones, users are basically denied of not just the possibility of better audio quality from superior earphones/headphones, but also stuck with having to purchase earphones from Samsung should the original set get lost or damaged..
