DDR may be nearly the end of it's reign as the memory of choice for the top of the line gaming systems, but that doesn't mean it dead and buried. For the next couple of months DDR will be the memory of choice for the top gaming computers. Last year, the top gaming PC's were happy with 1GB of memory, this year the trend has moved to 2GB.
