INTEL offers one such answer with their recently released Pentium D 805 Dual Core Processor. Based on the same Smithfiield core used with the other Pentium D 8XX processors, the Pentium D 805 comes with a pair of 2.66GHz cores and a 533MHz FSB. While there is nothing particularly new or exciting about the Pentium D 805, its price should make it a great choice for a starving student or Mom and Pop's next computer..
