Finer 90nm production technology allowed Nvidia not just to improve the technical specs of its flagship product dramatically. They also managed speed up its younger brother, which has eventually become even faster than the legendary GeForce 7800 GTX. And the latter is famous for having arrived at the right time and into the right market segment and thus turning into a great success.
