This Vantec Hard Drive Cooling System is a device with some cool and handy features that some of the other, similar devices lack. The device did what it was supposed to but the promised 40% difference in temperatures was unfortunately not achieved. The largest difference in temperatures that I acquired was about 20% but I reckon that with a newer, faster disk (such as the Western Digital Raptor 10k RPM Drives) this Vantec HDCS could easily reach that 40% boundary.
