With a list price that is 40 percent less than that of last year's model, the Pioneer PDP-5060HD ($4,999.99 list) PureVision plasma television is the most affordable 50-inch panel the company has ever offered. I'm pleased to report that the PDP-5060HD improves upon the image quality of past generations, provides a good selection of A/V features, and for the most part conceals its cost-cutting measures.
