Well, it is now summer time. The time of year that a computer fears most as outside temperatures rise. With that rising heat comes rising computer temperatures as well. This can cause a computer to ultimately fail. So what’s the best thing to do? Find a cooler that works well. Spire was kind enough to send me one of their new heatsinks for testing. The Spire SP741B3 (also known as the DiamondCool II)is designed for socket 939 CPUs. It is a copper and heat pipe design with a UV reactive fan attached.
