Forget buying multiple connection cards for all of your laptops and subscribing to multiple data plans. In a remote conference room or on a job site with several business associates, all you have to do is plug one EV-DO card into the KR1 and you’ll have 1-Mbps Internet access to share. Your associates can access the router using standard 802.11g. The throughput is slower than traditional Wi-Fi, and the range isn’t stellar, but these are only minor weaknesses in what is otherwise a very good (and affordable) mobile product.
