Maybe you remember the original SiN. Emergence features a plot and gameplay every bit as stereotypical as the original. You once again control hyper-macho cop John Blade (Is that a cheesy name? Yes.), who must thwart the evil plans of the megalomaniacal Alexis Sinclaire (Sound like a villain name? Yes!). He is aided by the cute/sarcastic female sidekick, and the obligatory young male hacker/know-it-all. We are currently nowhere if not on familiar ground.
