Early on, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter suffered several development delays and even missed the initial launch of the Xbox 360. Ubisoft announced a February 2006 launch date but, once again, the development team once hit another snag and the game was delayed once again, this time until May. The official word from Ubisoft was that the development team was working on many “groundbreaking” features for the game and they wanted to have everything polished and working like a well oiled machine before shipping the game..
