Inevitably, the minute you mention Prey, the first thing people want to talk about is the length of time it took to get the game done. The popular version of the story makes it sound like this game was in development hell and that it has taken 11 years to get the game out the door. While that may be true in a sense, that isn’t the whole story, and it sells short the great guys at Human Head who undertook the daunting task of bringing the Prey concept to life.
