On the top there are a few extra ports placed for your convinience, this way you don't have to strech back behind the case and connect products. On the top they have place USB, Firewire, and sound ports which you connect straight to your motherboard. You can mount five 5.25 units in this case and the front door is made out of steel, which is still very light weight to keep the weight on the case as low as possible.
