The Lan Dock itself is very compact in size. The top portion contains all of the indicator LEDs with icons telling you what each LED is for. On the front are the 4 USB 2.0 which can be used for all peripherals and is fully backwards compatible with USB 1.1. On the back you have the 2 PS/2 ports, 10/100 Ethernet port and a Serial port. The PS/2 ports are for a mouse and keyboard. The serial port can be used for PDAs or mobile phones. Then the Ethernet port is for hooking into a network/Internet.
