Both sides of the mouse have a special grip rail that stops your hand from sliding off the mouse. The mouse is actually ambidextrous so south paws will be happy, which is pretty rare in mice these days. The wire that comes from the mouse is very long so you will have no problem using the mouse on even the largest desk or if your PC is on the floor (shame on you).
