Performance-wise both the P5W DH Deluxe and P5B Deluxe did very well and it is clear that the Intel 975X and P965 chipsets are very evenly matched in terms of performance. Stability was also superb and I found no issues with the BIOS revisions used for each of these two motherboards. The P5W DH Deluxe used version 0801 while the P5B Deluxe used version 0405. Even in terms of overclocking performance both motherboards are excellent, achieving a 3.70GHz stable overclock using nothing more than air-cooling.
