According to the legend, after Ninety-Nine Nights of darkness the world will be wiped clean of humans and goblins, or was that 40 days and 40 nights of rain and a bumpy boat ride for some guy named Noah? Microsoft and Q Entertainment/Phantagram have animated this flimsy biblical allusion into an eye-pleasing, combo-wielding, simple-minded action title. The story involves two mysterious magical orbs of dark and light, and a force that positions all seven playable characters, albeit in a disjointed fashion, along a mutually destructive path to war.
