The Alienware m5550 comes standard with a glossy 15.4", 16:10 aspect ratio panel in a WXGA (1280x800) resolution. Our test unit had no dead pixels or defects. I found the display to be impressively bright and evenly lit. The display has very good contrast, which can be enhanced using Nvidia's "Digital Vibrance" control. Colors flow out of the screen, and games and movies look wonderful. Naturally, being a display of the glossy variety, reflections abound, but whether you like this style or not is personal preference.
