Graphics accelerators are getting hotter without a doubt. From ISA to PCI to AGP and now, PCIe, we're seeing graphics accelerators supplied with gargantuan cooling compared to that of the last generation. Auxillary power has gone from a few amps off the 12V rail, to nearly tens of amps. Now, we're just about to witness graphics accelerators pop up with two hungry-for-more PCIe power sockets. All these power translates to heat, whether you like it or not.
