The PX1 Extreme supports Intel’s legacy Pentium 4, Pentium D, and the newest Core 2 Duo CPUs. The board has dual PCIe x16 slots and supports ATi’s Crossfire technology, as well as DDR2 memory speeds of up to 800MHz officially. Following industry trends the PX1 Extreme requires only a few components to operate as a full system. Components needed include a socket LGA775 processor, ATX 2.0 power supply, hard drive, DDR 2 memory and a video card.
