The 7900GS comes in just under the $200 mark, and it's that price point or less where most video cards are sold. While the GeForce 8800's are now available, most of us can't drop $500 on a video card. Given the close performance to the 7900GT, the 7900GS could appear to be a slight rehash of the same GPU.
