The HP Compaq Presario Media Center SR2050NX ($610 direct, $870 with a 17-inch LCD panel) represents the high end of the value space, offering many types of users a lot to like: Basic users will benefit from a system with lots of drive space and dual-core processing power, more active users will benefit from a midrange system at an affordable price, and demanding users will benefit from a system they can upgrade to fairly high-end specs.
