OQO model 02 UMPC Review

When the OQO model 01 was first announced in 2004, many of us were picking our jaws off the floor, marveling at how tiny the system was. Though only about the size of your hand, it was a full-fledged PC with a full-blown Microsoft Windows XP operating system installed. One thing was clear, however: This miniature PC was far from perfect. The screen lacked luster, the Transmetta processors just didn't cut it, and USB 1.1? Funny how time flies. At CES 2007, the biggest electronics show in Las Vegas, OQO announced the successor to the model 01, dubbed the model 02. Some of the new exciting features include built-in EV-DO, a brighter screen, and a great docking station. And it's all packaged into a 1-pound frame.
