All in all, Gothic 3 could have been a great game, had the release just been pushed back a few weeks. A patch has been released for it since release, but sadly, two pages of patch notes, and nothing mentioned in this review got fixed. Instead many things got fixed pertaining to the skill trees, something players will never notice if they don’t get past the overwhelming problems. I personally never played Gothic 1 or 2, but I hope they were better for their times than 3 is for its own time..
