There are not many notebooks that are directly comparable to the M6, which is one reason it is interesting. It is a bit heavier than most 12" models (the starting weight is 4.1 lbs) and on the surface it seems like a model that would be more comfortable with a 14" display, though it is on the light side for the typical 14" unit. The starting price is higher than expected, most likely as a result of a few bonuses, like the smaller size and a top-of-the-line DVD writer. The closest competitor is Lenovo's V100, but some other's, like Dell's M1210, are about the same size, but have a better feature set.
