Just to start off, this will be one of the shortest reviews that I have ever done. Hiper has been making some great PSUs for quite a while. It used to be so hard to get one of their PSUs here in the states, but that has changed. To meet the demands of the ever changing motherboard market, Hiper made an extender cable to help meet the needs of the 8 pin EPS connector found on newer motherboards. The 8 pin EPS is the same as the old P4 4 pin connector, but now its doubled. Newer motherboards, and CPUs require more power than ever. The 8 pin connector is just for the CPU. Earlier versions of this connector were only found on server motherboards with dual CPUs.
