From what I have seen so far, Vanguard Saga of Heroes is turning out to be an MMO that is very reminiscent of the old classics, such as Asheron’s Call and Everquest. Taking the best from each, but learning from the shortcomings of them, and doing their best to improve upon them, Vanguard has done a great job from what I have experienced so far. The abilities to get such things as mounts in the form of horses, and player owned houses, and even later guild halls and ships, keep the player drawn in for the long run. Hopefully within the next few patches, some of the issues will be resolved, and this game will make its mark as a classic among the highly competitive MMO genre.
