We recently reviewed the X1650XT, ATI's best middle-range graphics card solution, intended for people on a tight budget that would still like to enjoy some of the newest games on the market. The X1650XT makes the Pro version of the card somewhat redundant, as its performance is substantially less. This is not the case with Sapphires Ultimate card though, as this card is targeted at users who above all prioritize noiseless operation. This trait is especially important to people looking for a good card for their living room multimedia PC. While it would certainly be nice if the card was capable of playing the newest games, it is far more important how it deals with HD video and how much noise it creates.
