Take 1 Canon PowerShot A700, place in a bag. Add 1.1 million pixels and 1 Advanced Internal Optical Stabilization System. Shake well, and what comes out is the new PowerShot A710 IS! Aside from being the first Canon A-series camera to have a built-in stabilizer, the PowerShot A-710 IS has the same design lines as the A700, but with the addition of a grey plastic section on the grip, and a dark silver body finish. Only the front surface of the camera is metal-clad, the rest being made of a slightly lighter colour silver plastic.
