Ultra Products 2GB Hydra MP3 Player Review
Posted on 2007-03-02 18:59:10 by Thomas De MaesschalckWhile I might prefer a more robust type of player, there are times that a larger player is just too much. This is where the Ultra Products Hydra is a perfect choice. Whether you are out running, biking, sitting by the pool, or working in the hot summer sun; a compact, solid state, and splash resistant player like this will come in very handy.

My review here applies to the 1GB model, but I am sure it would apply to the 2 GB model as well. This player might be splash resistant but it is not very well made. The software upgrade won't load, the auto shutt off doesn't work, nor does the key lock feature. The user interface is shitty (alot of button pushing to get simple setting changes made). For the money, many models perform better. Mine stopped playing after 4 months. Not recommended |
