I love making my PCs cool and quiet. Usually, this involves restricting the number of fans inside the PC or running them at lowerRPMs by installing a bigger heatsink. Watercooling is also a good option. With such setups, I generally achieve a fairly quiet environment- that is, until the optical drive starts to spin.
