If you're an educated or avid user of water cooling, then you're probably aware that every new core CPU release tends to be preceded and followed by a flurry of new coolers, components, and peripherals that have been designed to work best with the CPU. Often, more than one CPU cooler concept is roughly manufactured and tested on a wide array of CPU cores with the results calculated and recorded. Some concepts make it through while others don't even make it past the first rough draft. The planning, time, and details put in to a CPU water block can take months to finalize.
