Today we put the Silverstone TD01 water-cooling kit to the test and based on how impressed we have been with past Silverstone products, the TD01 came as a bit of a surprise for a few reasons. The TD01 features exceptional build quality and you would expect nothing less from Silverstone. The unit is quick and easy to install and thanks to the high level of build quality there is really no chance of this kit springing a leak. However despite all this, the ultra expensive TD01 fell shot in a big way when put to the test...

Surprisingly despite the poor performance the TD01 is one of the best put together water-cooling kits we have reviewed to date. The build quality is excellent, making the TD01 a very solid little unit, it is also one of the easiest water cooling kits we have setup. The quality of the unit really is first class, sadly what lets it down is the design and this could be due to lack of experience with water-cooling designs on Silverstone’s behalf.
