Thermaltake has just recently released a VGA water-cooler called the TMG ND4 which is designed to complement their latest water-cooling kit. After recently reviewing the Thermaltake BigWater 760i we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and performance of this water-cooling kit. Therefore we decided to test it even further by incorporating a new VGA cooler designed to work with the Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTX.

Performance wise the Thermaltake TMG ND4 was very good, producing the lowest temperatures we have seen on our GeForce 8800 GTX graphics card. Of course this is the first VGA water-block that we have tested on this graphics card so this was half expected anyway. Nevertheless, the Thermalright HR-03 Plus was used for comparison purposes and this is easily the best air-cooled solution we have seen for the 8800 GTX. That being the case we were very impressed to find that under the most stressful conditions the TMG ND4 was 11 degrees cooler than the HR-03 Plus.
