Most tech gadgets go through a predictable evolution of adding features, while also shrinking in size (remember when those bulky cell phones used to only make phone calls? We don't either!). But one pint sized peripheral is still trying to find its functional niche, and that's the USB key. Of course, the question remains, do thumb drives really need additional features?
