If you take a look back at the original Neverwinter Nights youll probably notice that while the vanilla version of the game wasnt bad, it lacked polish and had a campaign that was mediocre at best. Its expansions however ended up fixing pretty much all of the shortcomings of the original and brought forth singleplayer campaigns which are amazing even by todays standards. Fast forward a few years Neverwinter Nights 2 came out and although a solid game it suffers from a poorly optimized engine and a decent, but slightly boring story. Can Mask of Betrayer repeat the success of the originals expansions and be what NWN2 should have been from the get go?
