This headset is geared for gaming, and that's what I was able to do for quite a few hours. I played Call of Duty 4, Unreal Tournament 3 and some Half-Life 2: Episode 2 and really enjoyed the comfort and overall experience these headphones provided. Gameplay sound was very crisp, clear and immersive although explosions and gunfire lacked a bit of the punch that the SteelSeries 5H v2 offered. Bass is not weak and wimpy by any means, but it doesn't compare to the ear shaking bass that a good set of Z-5500's offer.
