The Gigabyte X48-DQ6 is an impressive motherboard and one of the first we have seen built around the new Intel X48 chipset. While we have been impressed with the X48-DQ6, we have also found nothing really new and exciting about this product. Having recently reviewed the X38T-DQ6 we have found the X48-DQ6 to be much the same in pretty much all aspects. Performance wise both motherboards are much the same, overclocking abilities they appear very similar and in terms of features they are almost identical. This leaves just the smaller matter of how much this new X48-DQ6 motherboard will cost.
