Let's face it, very few people listen to music at medium levels at all times and we felt that we should crank up the volume until these speakers started to distort and see just how loud they were at this "breaking" point. The good news is that with the bass at a well-balanced level, the mStation didn't distort very much at all even at maximum volume on the iPod and the Orb.
