The biggest drawback for me was the noise of this cooler when running at full speed, it wasn't ear-piercing noisy, but it was very noticeable. However with that being said, the performance this cooler offers at low speeds is good enough that you don't need to be running this cooler full out, and it's nice to have the option to crank the fan up if for some reason you need extra cooling power.
