DDR3-1066, 1333, 1600 and 1800 - only a difference in price? Review

Intel's mid-price chipsets are (officially) limited to DDR3-1066 and only the premium chipsets X38 and X48 support DDR3-1333 (officially). Above that it's XMP, overclocking and praying. But will performance improve due to the use of high speed DDR3 memory or will just the weight of your wallet decrease. We had a look at seven different memory speeds and latencies between DDR3-1066 and 1800 that could save you a lot of money...
