Sid Meier's Colonization is a great game. It successfully combines three video game genres into one solid game. The game is a turn-based 4X strategy game, but due to the resource gathering system it also resembles your traditional RTS, and the colony management aspect of the game also introduces aspects of the tycoon genre. And not only that, but this awesome new game is only 30 bucks brand new. I've reviewed almost unplayable games that cost me over $50 with the tax. Colonization is a true bargain. It is a solid game from every single aspect (as long as you appreciate the genre). And if you find someone with just as much free time as yourself, you can always partake in some multiplayer games.
