If you're a hardcore fan of the sport odds are that you will purchase the game anyhow. And this will be the same with FIFA Soccer 09. The hardcore soccer fans will almost certainly acquire this game with little concert of what the game really offers, and in EA's case, unless you purchase the current title each year you won't be able to play online. That's right! EA takes down the current online servers whenever their new title comes out, so good luck playing this game online in a year from now. So the real question is how you feel about soccer, EA, fifty bucks and a game that for the most part expires in a year. I gave you all the info in the review, but the final decision is entirely up to you.
