G.Skill has certainly set a new benchmark for MLC based SSD’s with their new Titan series. With read speeds of at least 200MB/s and write speeds of 160MB/s, there is simply nothing else like the Titan SATA II 2.5” SSD 128GB. As it stands the better MLC SSD’s feature read speeds of around 150MB/s, with a write speed of 100MB/s or less. The Titan on the other hand can write data faster than most of the competing drives can read it, which is simply amazing.
