After all, $400 US is quite a lot of money to spend on a product that idles at over 70 degrees, and while you can manually increase the fan speed, this simply turns the Radeon HD 4870 X2 from a hot product to a bloody loud one. Performance wise there is nothing special about the Extreme AH4870X2 TOP either, as it is only a fraction faster than a standard Radeon HD 4870 X2 graphics card, and again we do not see the point in paying a price premium for such an insignificant performance boost.
