Since the home computer developed into our homes we all mostly thought of it as a visual object. We gradually added sound with external speakers’ sets that sat neatly along side of our monitors. As time has past, Some added more flair with multiple speaker sets with satellite systems left and right speaker combined with a throaty sub woofer. For most the sound came via the onboard chipsets the given motherboard provided. Now with the advancements of the latest games and movies with their 5.1 sound tracks and even the newer 7.1 sound tracks one can now hear the sounds as the maker of theses games and movies intended. The home computer is no longer a visual machine it has become an audio and visual entertainment system. Today we’ll be looking and testing and more importantly listening to the efforts of M-Audio’s 7.1 Revolution sound card.
