Konica Minolta makes its long-awaited debut in the digital SLR market with the Maxxum D7 (which is known as the Dynax D7 outside of the United States). Compatible with many existing Minolta lenses and accessories, it also takes Konica Minolta's new VC-7D vertical grip and its 17mm-to-35mm and 28mm-to-75mm lenses (35mm-camera equivalent), which are optimized for digital capture. The camera's 6.1-megapixel resolution is typical of current consumer dSLRs, but its antishake technology sets it apart from the crowd.
