The lens on the SP590UZ has a telephoto setting equivalent to 676mm, longer even than the SLR lenses used by professional sports photographers. It’s great for bragging, but in practice even the camera’s built in image stabilisation can’t produce a shake-free hand-held shot at full zoom.
