Unfortunately the ATA100/133 standard has a new format to contend with. Introducing Serial ATA drives. While the standard/format has taken some time to catch on from it's early days it is making it's way into the home user market. Many motherboard manufactures have included the support for SATA while still offering support for ATA. Today we're going to be looking at Maxtor's SATA DiamondMax Plus 9 200GB drive from their SATA Ultra Series.
