Media streamers are increasingly commonplace but few go the extra mile in catering for the TV watcher. French manufacturer Wyplayer has been ambitious, therefore, in fusing a twin-tuner Freeview PVR with a comprehensive media streamer. Our test machine came fitted with a 500GB hard disc but the Wyplayer is also being sold minus hard disc or with pre-installed drives ranging up to 1.5TB in size. Drives can be easily swapped via an unscrewable panel.
